The Students’ Perspectives About the Effectiveness Argumentative Speaking Tasks Given on English Class

چکیده

Argumentative speaking skill is a communication process that aims to convince others accept our opinions based on facts and strong evidence. The purpose of this study was find out the students' perspectives about effectiveness argumentative tasks given. This used qualitative method. participants in were third semester students English education Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. There twenty class G. Data collected using interviews notes record results documentation form student data instruments taking pictures during interviews. result showed perceived given effective for critical thinking increased their skills.
